5 Steps To Glory

As we’re approaching the end of the year, it’s always good to reflect on what you have achieved.

Are you any closer to the physique you want?

Do you have the freedom to spend more time with your family?

Do you have the energy to do the active things with your family?

When you look at yourself in the mirror, do you like what you see?

Or are you still sucking that stomach in?

When you set your goals for 2017, will they be any different to the ones you set for 2016 or have to seen the progression you wanted and you’ll be making new goals, new plans next year?

If you’re honest with yourself, and you’ll be setting the same goals, 12 months after setting them before, what you’re doing isn’t working.

So, below i’ve explained my 5 Steps To Glory, the key things you need to consider if you truly want to progress.

1. INVEST IN A COACH

Now, some people will think that this is a self-promotion point. And to an extent it is.
I have a moral and ethical duty to provide you with the very best tactics to help you produce the results you want. And at the end of the day, I invest in coaches myself, so if it’s good enough for me…

2. SWEAT DAILY

By committing to something physical daily, you’ll create an environment to change. But remember, if it doesn’t challenge you, it will not change you.
We utilise workouts of 12 to 18 minutes in Alpha Man Elite, so the excuse of time constraint is invalid. Plus, the benefits of physical activity

Healthier Heart & lungs, increase in muscle, increase in metabolic rate, loss of fat & weight…

3. RECOGNISE THAT REST IS VALUABLE
However you choose to utilise your recovery time, it’s important that you recognise that Rest & Recovery are not rewards for optimal performance, they are Pre-Requisites!
Again, this is an area often overlooked in many coaching programmes, whereas in AME, it is a fundamental element, through optimal sleep, meditation and protection of personal energy.

4. ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES YOU MORE THAN A DULL BOY!

Play is one of the P5 within my coaching programme.

For good reason.

If you’re not spending quality time with friends, family and by yourself, you are missing out on the fundamental things that life is all about, creating memories!

By doing something fun, beyond the things you currently do (for eg, going to the gym can’t count as a ‘Fun activity’), you keep a balance between work and actually enjoying life.

5. FOCUS ON WHAT IS A PRIORITY

Yesterday I had a conversation with one of the guys in Alpha Man Elite, who explained how he’d gone from completing spur of the moment ‘To Do Lists’ based on post-it notes that were used to help him remember things he needed to do as the day went. Reacting to things instead of prioritising, drawing you into a false sense of productivity. Staying as is & not progressing.
Now? He’s part of the Alpha Man Elite Programme and pre-planning what his goals are, what barriers may occur & how to overcome them. Meaning, he no longer needs to be reactive, now he is pro-active!

Schedule your time, what you need to achieve and focus on the bigger things instead of allowing yourself to get caught up believing you’re being productive with a To Do List!
